When you are farming Korthia, around world bosses (the world quests ones giving 500 anima) or the assaults, try to group. When I first started I had no idea what I was doing and created an Alliance character but the server I selected is like 80% horde.Good servers: WOTLK expansion - just a few servers (search threads on this, Gamer District, Lordaeron) Vanilla: Light's Hope or Kronos. TBC: Netherwing. MOP: Tauri, Evermoon. I just gave you 6 very good servers. Pick the expansion you want. I recommend WOTLK or MOP servers. Prob a 70-30 split. Stormrage and Sargeras are both very active Alliance realms. I moved to Proudmoore for this expansion and am loving it. It's packed and there's always people around. Dalaran (US) Dalaran is one of the first servers released and back in the WOTLK time, it had one of the best progress guilds on both factions. Nowadays, Alliance rules this server with over 70% of the realm's population. The server has its benefits and drawbacks that go with any other server.Go for Silvermoon/Ravencrest. Basically having the most people on your faction on the server is the most important. Advantages are that you get more guilds, more people in cities and trade chat, and a healthy economy (though that is not faction-specific). Also keep in mind server location your ping will be better on a server located in the east if u live on east coast area 52 and illidan are better east zone areas and tichondrius is west coast server but u can still play on them regardless but will suffer usually 30 higher ping I live in east and play on a west coast server and ping is at 90ms .... I would recommend Pyrewood Village (EU), really nice PVE server and lots of people doing low level content. Never an issue to find groups for quests or dungeons. Go US Heartseeker.
